Research Interests
During my PhD period I was involved in the synthesis and structural characterization of transition metal complexes with iminodiacetate-like and N-heterocyclic ligands.
Now, at LEC, my daily work deals with the crystallization and crystallography of a wide range of (metallo)organic compounds. I have a particular interest for certain topics such as the development of crystallization techniques and the use of gels as crystal growth media for small molecules, co-crystals and polymorphism. In addition, I manage the single crystal diffractometer as a member of the X-ray facility staff and the Laboratory of Crystallization of Small Molecules at La Factoria Española de Cristalización.
